We really enjoyed our stay here at DWI (downwinderinn). The place is charming and has a very cozy feel. The kitchen is beautiful and very will equipped. Rowdy is the BEST! Very accommodating and just a real nice guy... he showed us around, and launched our kites and brought his kayak down to the beach for us. My wife and I had a good stay at the Downwinderinn. She really enjoyed the space being outside of town. The nearby kite beaches are less crowded than in La Ventana and sometimes get more wind. They drove us down too the launch beach a few hundred yards below the inn and picked us up in La Ventana. The DownWinderInn lived up to its name. Downwind to Baja Joes four times was great.
